Who Are We?

OSSEMA S.A. is an Angolan joint-stock company focused on agribusiness, operating in agricultural production, industrial processing, storage, and commercialization of grains and cereals on a large scale.

What Do We Do?

We produce, process, transport, store, and commercialize grains and cereals. We connect farmers to the market and end consumers, providing food for human and animal consumption, contributing to local and national nutrition.

History

OSSEMA was founded based on the agricultural tradition of the family, initially as a distribution channel for corn and beans from the Catumbo family farm (David Trading, Huambo). The goal was to provide basic products to urban centers at affordable prices. First products: corn, beans, cornmeal, and sweet potatoes, in quantities of 2–4 tons per week. Growth was exponential: from small weekly shipments to dozens of trucks daily nationwide. Expansion to neighboring markets: Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) and Namibia. Today, OSSEMA is a reference in the Angolan agro-industrial sector, distributing millions of kilos of food over the years.
